Red lipstick- it is quintessential bombshell. I'm not always the diligent red lipstick wearer I should be. I fall into the low-maintenance trap and wear mauve, or nude, or gloss, or chapstick. These all have their place in a Bombshell's artillery of lip wear....but the perfect red....
I was recently inspired by some photos of an ex-beau's current flame's red lips. It's interesting how seeing someone you used to interact with on a daily basis can bring back such a flood of memories. But the real impact came from seeing his lady's chic red lips-so striking- I thought, "Wow- I should put in the effort to maintain the red lip all day- even during the mundane work day". Its so glamorous.
So the past few days I've made the effort. I've felt extra glamorous and even filing papers has felt more exotic.
